Good to Know...
It is important to note that BWCA entry permits are reserved on a first come, first serve basis so the earlier you reserve your trip the better chance you have of securing the best entry point.

What to Pack

This is a good reference for items you may need to get if you do not have them already.

What to Pack:
We suggest you take two complete sets of clothing on your canoe trip. Wear one and pack one.

2 Pair Pants (preferably not jeans, they do not dry well when wet)
2 Long sleeve shirts
2+ Set of underwear
2+ Pair of boot-length socks
1 Pair of footwear that will be completely submerged in water (Teva/Keen/ FiveTens with covering over toes)
Lightweight shoes (for around camp)
Fleece jacket or Wool sweater
Hat
Swimming suit
Rain Gear
Towel & wash cloth
Handkerchief
Toiletries
Toilet paper
Sunglasses
Gloves
Camera
Compass
Flashlight/Headlamp & spare batteries
Fishing gear & tackle - see our suggested fishing tackle list
Filet knife
First Aid kit (per group)
Insect repellant
Sun block
Matches & waterproof case
Knife (Swiss Army type or Multi-tool works well)
Water Bottles (32oz Nalgene type is best)
Water purification tablets
Insulated Mug with lid is nice for coffee drinkers
Fishing License (can purchase online at www.mndnr.gov/fishmn)

Keep in mind, other than your toiletries there are no cans or glass bottles allowed in the Boundary Waters or Quetico Park.

If you are missing some items we have a small camp store here at the resort where you can round out your equipment needs. If you have any questions about what to pack give us a call and we will assist you.
