Partial Outfitting

If you plan on packing your own gear for your trip, please be sure your equipment is Boundary Waters friendly!  The car camping tent does not work well here!!  Your equipment (and food) has to be lightweight, compact and in good working order.  You will be paddling and portaging everything you bring for several days and bulky, heavy items can ruin your experience.  We can help you decide on some items but "if in doubt, leave it out."

Canoe & Food Packages

Have your own gear but need a canoe and don't want to shop, pre-cook, and pack all that food. Below are two packages designed just for you. the first package comes with a Kevlar canoe. These are some of the fastest and lightest recreational canoes made today. The second package (Ultra-Light) comes with an aluminum canoe which is very stable and the most widely used canoes in the BWCA.  Whichever package you choose you can rest assured that we've got you covered from transportation to the bedtime snack.

Kevlar Canoe & Food Package:              $47 per person / per day
  (
includes a 42lb Kevlar Canoe)

Ultra-Light Canoe and Food Package:    $40 per person / per day
  (
includes a 64lb Aluminum Canoe)

The Canoe & Food Packages includes your canoe, paddles, life jackets and all the food for the trip packed into a portage pack.
*This package does not include kitchen equipment*
